Building Community Wealth
through Free Tax Assistance... Through
the OLCDC Volunteer Income Tax Assistance (VITA) Center,
OLCDC staff and volunteers, trained by the IRS, provide free, confidential,
and respectful service to help low or moderate income
workers prepare their taxes and get the tax
credits and refunds they have earned. Service is available
each year from late January through April 15. Click here to view our PowerPoint
presentation that highlights our 2003 Program features and
results.

Seeking, Valuing
Community Input...
To survey selected stakeholders during the planning period
for new development projects, OLCDC
has begun holding "charrettes," community
meetings at which residents may express their views: |
