The OLCDC, through the Volunteer Income Tax Assistance (VITA) Center, is providing income tax preparation to low and moderate income individuals. Our services are FREE, EASY and FAST!!!
Free
You will receive free, confidential, respectful service at the OLCDC VITA Center.
Easy
OLCDC’s VITA volunteers are trained by the IRS and will help you get the tax refund you have earned. VITA Volunteers are knowledgeable of the available deductions, benefits and tax credits you may qualify for based on your employment status, income and number of dependents.
Fast
The OLCDC VITA Center will file your taxes electronically, which will result in you receiving your tax refund quickly!
To receive service, you must bring the following information to your appointment:
- Social Security Card for each family member
- W-2 forms for all jobs worked in 2010
- 1099 forms reflecting other income you may have received in 2010
- The provider name, address, & tax I.D. number for childcare paid for in 2010
- If you received the letter from the IRS regarding rebates, bring that letter
- Any other tax related documents you received
- 1098 Forms received reflecting interest paid (mortgage, student loan, etc.)
- A copy of last year’s return
- If you want your refund automatically deposited, bring a voided bank check
