Opa-Locka Light District: Writing Workshop

OLCDC is partnering with O, Miami as proud winners of the 2019 Public Space Challenge from The Miami Foundation with our submission called "Opa-Locka Light District: Poetry Street Lamps." The plan is to illuminate unlit parts of downtown Opa-Locka with poems written by Opa-Locka residents.

We're hosting a community workshop to collect the poems that will be projected onto the street. Want to see your poem in lights? Participation in the workshop is free and open to the public.
