Women Health Empowerment: FIBROIDS

Fibroids are benign tumors that grow in a woman’s uterus. Fibroids can affect daily life due to severity of symptoms, but women can also be asymptomatic. Multiple lines of evidence also show that African American women are disproportionately affected. During this group session, we will offer a comfortable space for women to learn more fibroids and have questions answered by a gynecologist from the University of Miami.
