About The Event
Have you dreamed of a career in technology? If so, take the first step towards your future self with this 12-week intensive lab (Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday) that will introduce you to the basics of information technology.
The Tech Futures Initiative is a free Basic IT certification course for young adults and working professionals who want to enter high wage careers in the tech industry.
You’ll learn how to –
- • Explain the basics of computing, software development, and database fundamentals.
- • Install Software
- • Establish a network connectivity
- • Identify/Prevent basic security risks
- • Explain troubleshooting theory and preventive maintenance of devices.
