We are working to revitalize the downtown area of Opa-locka, with the implementation of the THRIVE Innovation District. The vision is to introduce life-enhancing services that will benefit residents of Opa-locka, neighboring communities and visitors.

 

The project will utilize buildings within the City of Opa-locka, including the Hurt Building, Historic Opa-locka Train Station and ARC. The campus currently houses an arts charter school, urban farm, co-working spaces and dance/movement studio. Coming soon is a commercial kitchen, marketplace and technology center.
